FRAGMENTOS DE UN POEMA DESMEMBRADO
“La Araucana”, epopeya del siglo XVI, narra la guerra entre españoles y mapuche: una historia de sangre y resistencia.
En ella resuena la pregunta por los cuerpos perdidos y las almas de nuestros ancestros, enterrados bajo nuestras ciudades.
Este proyecto desmembra el poema para reconstruir esos huesos ausentes, tejiendo la historia como un ritual de reivindicación.
Cada hueso cuelga de un hilo rojo, formando una columna vertebral que arraiga en la tierra ensangrentada que los vio nacer.
Esta obra fue desarrollada para el proyecto latinoamericano colectivo: "Sepan Cuantos".

FRAGMENTS OF A DISMEMBERED POEM
“La Araucana,” a 16th-century epic, tells the story of the war between the Spanish and the Mapuche: a tale of blood and resistance.
Within it echoes the question of the lost bodies and the souls of our ancestors, buried beneath our cities.
This project dismembers the poem to reconstruct those absent bones, weaving history as a ritual of reclaiming.
Each bone hangs from a red thread, forming a spine rooted in the bloodied earth that gave them life.
This work was developed for the collective Latin American project: "Sepan Cuantos".
