ESPÍRITUS NAVEGANTES DEL FIN DEL MUNDO
Hace unos años me encontré con un libro que cuenta la historia de una indígena yagana, Rosa Yagán – Lakutaia Le Kipa, así fue como conocí este universo Yagán, su mundo espiritual de leyendas, animales, naturaleza, mar y extinción que me convocaron a construir y materializar un imaginario potente, de criaturas textiles, figuras enigmáticas que cobraron vida como espíritus navegantes de una cultura que fue condenada a desaparecer.
Las piezas llevan el nombre del protagonista de algún relato, un lenguaje musical que nos transporta al fin del mundo.
Cada cierto tiempo los retomo, el lenguaje va cambiando, interviniendo y transformando nuevos materiales y fibras naturales que transmutan en un nuevo espíritu - Kashpij.
Hoy los espíritus Yaganes siguen navegando por los mares de la madre tierra.

Today the Yagan spirits continue to navigate the seas of mother earth.
